We do not link this information with Personal Data.

K. Ingraham Author takes your privacy seriously. We will never sell, share, or give your Personal Data to other companies or people without asking you first. The only exceptions are:

These third parties may include social media advertising platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Google for the purpose of improving our Website and offerings and to obtain statistical data. If this Website uses this technology, the Website will use them in compliance with all policies of these third-party companies.

3.2 Payment processor and payments
We share Personal Data with our payment processor, PayHip, when you make a purchase on our website. We accept payments through PayPal via our payment processor. When processing payments, some of your Personal Data will be passed to PayHip and PayPal as the third parties providing the sale on our behalf.

We might have to share your information if the law requires it, or if we:
  • genuinely believe it’s necessary to protect our Website’s rights
  • have an honest, good-faith belief that any portion of our policies are being violated
  • believe it could mitigate a crime
  • need to protect other users’ safety

You have the right to know what Personal Data we collect and what we do with it. We store your Personal Data in a data management system and work hard to safeguard it. 

When we collect your Personal Data, we act as a data controller. We decide what Personal Data to collect, how long to keep it, and what to do with it. We use a third-party company, MailerLite, to act as a data processor to store the names and email addresses on our email list. To the best of our ability, we believe that all third-party data processors this Website uses are GDPR compliant and have good privacy practices.

We take precautions to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure; unlawful processing; accidental loss; destruction; and damage. Any Personal Data provided to the Website is protected both online and offline. However, there is no method of transmission over the Internet nor any method of electronic storage that is 100% guaranteed. As such, we can only guarantee a reasonable level of absolute security of your Personal Data.

We will retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with applicable laws. 

This website and its servers are based in the United States. The U.S. internet laws apply to everything on this site. When you do anything on this website, such as signing up for our newsletter, getting a free download, contacting us, or buying something, your information gets sent to the United States to be processed. Your information might stay in the U.S., or it might be transferred to other countries depending on what type of information it is and how we store it. If your information ends up in another country, that country might not have privacy laws that are as strong as the ones in your home country. However, we promise to follow our privacy policy no matter where your information goes. By using this website and giving us any personal information, you're consenting to us transferring and processing your information this way.
